The challenge

A global developer community platform wanted to compete with established recruiting and developer-focused sites on organic search. Their content presence was minimal — traffic was essentially flat at around 12,000 pageviews/month, most of it branded or direct.

What we did

Built a full SEO content strategy targeting developer-relevant search terms
Recruited and managed a team of technical writers
Produced ~20 pieces of tech content per month consistently
Managed the full editorial calendar — briefs, editing, publishing
Optimised for informational and commercial-intent developer queries

The result

Over 12 months, organic traffic grew from ~12,000 to 100,000 pageviews/month — 620% year-on-year. The chart shows a near-linear climb once the content machine reached consistent velocity, with the teal (Google organic) line dominating by Q3 2023.

"There was a lot of trial and error with this project. The recruiting space is very crowded and competitive. I threw everything at the wall and what stuck we doubled down on. The results speak for themselves."

The challenge

A relocation platform for developers already had a solid DR and good existing content. The founder wanted to scale content output and close keyword gaps competitors were winning. Good foundations — but not enough coverage to dominate the space.

What we did

Full keyword gap and competitor analysis
Project 1 — 30 new articles + 10 content refreshes, targeting discovered gaps
The traffic spike (visible in chart) validated the approach immediately
Project 2 — commissioned 150+ pages for a full site redesign
Category pages, subpages, and country-specific pages built on keyword research
Full site architecture designed around search intent and topical authority

The result

Project one caused an immediate traffic spike visible in Search Console data. Google organic (shown in orange in the Ahrefs chart) climbed consistently post-launch. The second project — a keyword-driven site redesign — delivered 1.8M total clicks and 121.9M impressions, growing daily clicks from ~2K to 6–8K.

The challenge

A new independent media site launching into a highly competitive news and commentary space. Zero domain authority, zero audience, tiny budget — two writers and a remit to build readership from scratch through editorial quality and smart distribution.

What we did

Took on the editor role — managing writers, commissioning stories, setting editorial direction
Built a distribution strategy combining organic search and social amplification
Identified stories with breakout potential — engineered for shareability on Facebook and X
Maintained consistent publishing cadence with a 2-person writing team

The result

For a brand new site with no authority, 130K active users in four months is a strong result. Several stories broke through organically on social — the top article hit 58K views. Organic search (29K sessions) built steadily alongside social (48K), showing early signs of compounding SEO traction despite the competitive space.
